European ETF assets hit record high of $2.74 trillion

Assets invested in the exchange-traded fund (ETF) industry in Europe reached a new record of $2.74 trillion at the end of June.

That’s according to ETFGI, the research and consultancy firm.

During June, the ETF industry in Europe gathered net inflows of $26.30 billion, bringing year-to-date net inflows for the first half of 2025 to a record $176.10 billion, according to ETFGI’s June 2025 European ETFs and ETPs industry landscape insights report.

Equity ETFs and ETPs listed in Europe attracted $120.65 billion in H1 2025 — the highest on record.

The ETF industry in Europe had 3,280 products, with 13,845 listings, assets of $2.74 trillion, from 125 providers listed on 29 exchanges in 24 countries at the end of June.
