Berlin’s Revent launches €100m ‘mission-driven’ fund

Berlin-based venture capital firm Revent announced the launch of Revent Fund II — its €100 million fund dedicated to backing the next generation of “mission-driven” European founders.

“Building on the success of our first fund we’re doubling down on our mission: supporting exceptional founders with the dual ambition to build companies that are not just big, but important,” said Revent.

“Fund II will continue to focus on founders driving critical transitions in climate, healthcare and empowerment — areas where societal progress and financial returns align perfectly.

“We’re proud of our track record backing breakout companies like Avelios Medical (recently backed by Sequoia Capital), tem. (backed by Atomico), Sylvera (backed by Balderton Capital), Granular Energy (backed by Norrsken VC) and are excited to continue partnering with Europe’s most ambitious founders building a healthier, fairer future.

“This next chapter is made possible by the trust of our investors including the Otto Group, GOLDBECK, the European Investment Fund (EIF), and successful entrepreneurs who founded companies like SAP Signavio, AMBOSS, and Urban Sports Club.

“When we launched Revent in 2021, our core belief was clear: the most ambitious founders aim to build companies that drive meaningful societal progress—and in doing so, create lasting value.

“Four years on, our portfolio performance confirms this thesis. We continue to build a home for top talent with this dual ambition, because companies that help us live better as a society will always hold extraordinary potential.”
